During the State of Play event on Monday, PSVR players got their first look at the upcoming Iron Man game from Camouflaj, which is slated for release later this year.
In all honesty, I expected Elon Musk to develop this, and give us complete Tony Stark feels, but nevertheless… Gravity Industries have rolled out a prototype of their jet-suit which literally gives you the power of Iron Man style flight.
With an intense horsepower of 1050, the jet-suit can lift you off the ground and even hurtle you forward at speeds of 30mph (the record highest for jet-suit travel, apparently). While it isn’t as elegant as the Marvel superhero’s exoskeleton, it’s a start, with 6 thrusters in total (2 on each hand and 2 more at the back). What’s better is that this isn’t just a sample suit for testing purposes, or a suit commissioned by the military. It’s literally available to the public… although you’d need $447,000 to fulfill your childhood fantasies of being Iron Man.

The big movie release this weekend is Captain America: Civil War. I’m a fan of Marvel movies, but I am not a big fan of Captain America as he is played in the films. On the other hand, I am a fan of Iron Man, Spiderman, and some of the other characters in the film. To me this is more of an Iron Man flick with some Cap on the side. I guess Microsoft feels the same way, since they have had some Tony Stark customized Xbox One consoles made to be given away by Xbox France. Guess it wouldn’t makes sense for France to get Captain America consoles anyhow.
The slick looking consoles are white and have Stark Industries badging and an arc reactor on the top of the console. The controller is also customized and has a tiny arc reactor behind the start button. It looks cool, but I’d have rather see them done up in red and gold than white personally.
They are hailed as having been designed by Tony Stark, but I doubt that Robert Downey, Jr. had anything to do with their creation. If you want one, you can enter to win one of the three available by following the rules on Xbox France’s Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages.

I like waffles as much as the next guy. I’m always more interested in how they taste than how they look. They can be missing a few of the little squares and I’ll still eat them. Recently, a waffle iron turned up that looks like the Captain America shield on the outside.
On the inside, the prototype waffle maker has a shield design with a star in the middle. When the waffles come out, they look like Cap’s shield on one side.
Robert Downey Jr. ran across it and wanted to know why someone hasn’t made an Arc Reactor waffle maker yet. That would be cool. We need an arc reactor, Hulk fist, Ant Man, and other Marvel waffle irons. The downside is parents with kids who love superheroes will end up having to buy a slew of waffle makers.

Experience the softer side of Tony Stark with this awesome Iron Man amigurumi. He is completely adorable and also nicely detailed.
As you can see in the picture, Iron Man’s mask even flips up. As a bonus the helmet also comes off completely, revealing Tony’s head and he even has facial hair. Hug him, squeeze him, cuddle with him in bed. It’s all good. No one will know what a softy you are.
He’s the cutest Avenger. It must have taken a lot of time and effort to get all of that detail. In the end he turned out perfect. I wish I had one to put on the shelf and admire for myself.
