Make Your Own Cardboard Coin Sorting Machine
These days you can pay for things in all kinds of electronic ways, but if you still find yourself with a bunch of coins, here is a fun way to sort them.
The Q channel shows us how to make a coin sorting machine using just cardboard, a knife, a metal ruler, and some glue. That’s it. Just build this thing, slide your coins inside and get them all sorted. This DIY tutorial video will show you how. As long as your country’s coins have different sizes, this will work perfectly.
Then you can take your sorted coins and put them away so they collect dust again. Or you know, spend them.

Skip the Minifigs and Make the Simpsons out of LEGO Bricks
The Simpsons recently aired their LEGO themed episode and to celebrate, Chicago animator David Pickett has created a video tutorial that will teach you how to make the Simpsons family out of LEGO bricks.
Because maybe you are too cheap to buy the real versions. I kid. I kid. That set is expensive and anyway, this will give them more of a brick look if you prefer that to minifigs. Plus these are larger.
The video gives you step-by-step instructions on how to build the whole family. It’s a good project to do with your kids this weekend if nothing else. So get out the bricks and start building.

Adafruit tutorial turns your Raspberry Pi into an ad-blocking WiFi access point
Ads can be a buzzkill, especially when they're so pervasive they become distractions. Luckily, Adafruit has a new tutorial that turns your Raspbery Pi into a WiFi access point that doubles as a mighty ad-blocking machine for any device -- be it an iPad or an Xbox -- that connects to it. All you need is a working internet connection, a Raspberry Pi booting Raspbian, a WiFi adapter, an Ethernet cable and the necessary software (which the tutorial breaks down for you). It should go without saying, but Adafruit also includes a reminder to whitelist the ad-supported sites you frequently visit. Blocking ads might improve your online experience overall, but it's always a good idea to support the people who provide you with free content. To get started, check out the tutorial at the source link below.
