The foldable work surfaces add another layer of practicality. These can be extended to provide additional space for sketching, placing materials, or setting up laptops and projectors. This adaptability makes the Atmus Mobile Desk not just a piece of furniture but a central component of your design process.

Beyond brainstorming and presentations, the Atmus Mobile Desk is also valuable for digital photography. The clear glass surface provides a neutral, reflective backdrop that enhances the details of the subject being photographed. Whether you’re capturing product shots, prototypes, or artistic compositions, the desk’s smooth surface ensures every detail is highlighted, and its mobility allows you to adjust lighting and angles easily.

In addition to its core functionalities, the Atmus Mobile Desk supports various creative processes in a design studio. It can serve as a temporary station for rapid prototyping, offering ample space to lay out materials and tools. The desk’s height and stability make it suitable for detailed craftsmanship, allowing designers to work comfortably and efficiently.

The sturdy, smooth-rolling casters are designed to move effortlessly across different floor surfaces, whether it’s carpet, wood, or concrete. This means you can reposition the desk without any hassle, ensuring it is always where you need it, whether at the center of a brainstorming session or tucked away after a photo shoot.

What if the White Board and Sticky Note had a baby? Meet the Future of Creative Productivity

Back in 2020, the way we worked radically changed. No, I’m not talking about the shift to Working From Home (WFH) during the pandemic, I’m talking about the birth of the Mover Erase, a rather inventive little piece of stationery that took the best parts of a magnet, a whiteboard, and a Sticky Note and combined them all into one single universally appealing solution. The Mover Erase was just genius – it was portable, reusable, magnetic, and came in clusters that helped you move notes around instead of one large static surface. Moreover, it saved paper by replacing thousands of sticky notes that would eventually end up in the trash. Nearly 4 years later, the folks at Bravestorming are making the Mover Erase better than ever, with standardized sizes that let you mount sticky notes onto your individual MEU (Mover Erase Uni-size) plate, for people who prefer the texture of paper. The entire kit also comes with its own mounting accessories, along with an app that digitizes your hand-written notes, giving them a place to live forever even if you wipe them clean to reuse!

Whiteboards are great because you can capture ideas, wipe them down, and start afresh. Sticky notes are great because you can put them anywhere, and arrange them to create brainstorming maps with repositionable boxes. So why not combine the two into a novel, clever solution? The Mover Erase Uni-size cleverly merges them into a singular product that really lends well to your creative process. The MEU’s whiteboard-like glossy silicon surface is great to write on with whiteboard markers, while the magnetic design lets you snap your notes easily onto surfaces for future reference. A patented release technique lets you dislodge notes too, quite like pulling a sticky note off a wall. The MEUs are color-coded, perfect for organizing your notes based on category or urgency, come in two standard sizes that match popular Sticky Note formats, and unlike paper which tends to curl up and become frail after days, stays looking as good as new forever.

6 Forms of MoveNote + Trifold

The beauty lies in the ability to use a cluster of MEUs together, brainstorming, organizing, reshuffling, and effectively mapping out ideas simply by moving individual MEUs around. Then, once you’re done with your sprint session, you can either keep the MEUs where they are, dislodge them to assign activities/roles to different teammates, or better still, take a photo through 3M’s Post-It app to digitize your notes effectively before wiping an MEU clean. Cleverly enough, the new MEUs are perfectly sized to fit your standard Post-It notes too, so just in case you love the texture of paper, you can stick your notes right on the MEU and use them… although what’s great about the new MEUs is the fact that the silicon surface on which you write can actually be removed from its plastic housing and stuck onto surfaces (given that silicon has an almost friction-like gripping tendency). However, there’s an understated beauty to the magnetic clear casing that the MEU has been perfecting since 2020.

Speaking of things being perfected since 2020, the Mover Erase Uni-Size comes with two new accessories in the form of an A3-compatible Movenote magnetic folder that gives your MEU notes and your paper documents a single place to coexist, and a shapeshifting Trifold that gives your notes a dynamic stand to display themselves on. The Movenote is a folio case that holds documents (A4/A3), acts as a daily planner (letting you stick your MEUs on the built-in charts), and even transforms into a tiny table! Its A3/A4 size compatibility means it holds tablets too, giving you a singular place for all your stationery and productivity tools. However, if you need something a little more compact just for your MEUs, that’s where you’ve got the Trifold.

The Trifold is a clever accessory that features three panels with dedicated charts on them for using alongside your MEUs. The magnetic surface lets you easily attach MEUs to the Trifold’s charts, but wait, they also fold into a prism shape, sitting on your desk either horizontally or vertically, allowing you to view and access your MEU notes on command. Open the Trifold flat, and it’s just the right size to fit into the Movenote folder, giving you a holistic kit that radically transforms how you think, take notes, and work.

The makers behind the Mover Erase began their journey by simply designing magnetic memo bricks that you could attach sticky notes to… but in doing so, they realized there was a lot more to the product. “Compared to the traditional sticky note thinking process, our Mover (Magnetic Memo Brick) significantly helped ADHD adults, Montessori educators, and many entrepreneurs in their thinking processes,” mentioned the creators at Bravestorming. Over the years, different iterations helped them build products that served different needs for different users. The magnetic memo brick still remains core to the product’s UX, but it now comes with a removable, washable, paper-like textured silicone writing surface… but more importantly, it’s standardized in size, still allowing people to mount Sticky Notes from popular brands like 3M onto it, just like the first generation.

Following 3 successful Kickstarter campaigns with over 15,000 happy customers, the folks at Bravestorming are finally turning a good idea into a great ecosystem. Four years later, the Mover Erase ‘universe’ is more functional and well-rounded than ever, allowing you to ideate, brainstorm, collaborate, and organize your work-life more efficiently and creatively. The Mover Erase Uni-size Starter Pack starts at a mere $33, consisting of just blank MEUs, but for $44 you can upgrade to color-coded MEUs, and for a little extra, you can add the Movenote and Trifold to your kit.

Note-taking desk accessory puts a small twist to your productivity

There is no shortage of productivity tools, systems, and apps to the point that they can be both overwhelming and even costly. That’s why many advocate going back to the basics of handwritten notes on paper or even sticky notes, but those carry the risk of being lost or forgotten. Smartphones can easily become their digital equivalent, at least until you run out of battery. These two systems don’t need to be mutually exclusive, especially when you’re at your desk and have a rather large space available to get your things together. This device concept does exactly that, combining the world of analog and digital together to produce something that lets you be fast and efficient while throwing in a bit of fun for good measure.

Designer: Harshit Sahu

Paper can be simple, and apps can be quick, but not everyone needs all the commitment that these two different note-taking methods sometimes require. There are those that just need to jot down quick notes or even draw a diagram that can be discarded before the day is over. Note, which is the most generic name ever, is pretty much a small desk whiteboard that lets you do that with efficiency, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve that a bit of spice and fun to your work.

For one, the “whiteboard” twists or rather flips over, giving you twice the space to write your notes down. One side can have a dotted grid surface to help with diagrams, while the other can be plain, or they can have the same design on both sides. As with any vertical slate, you can also place sticky notes on it, in case scribbling notes down on paper is quicker for you. The notes you write on the board are, of course, temporary, and a simple cloth can erase the contents to make room for the next notes.

What makes Note unique is the addition of a multi-purpose vertical screen to its left side. This allows you to also have a view of the time, the calendar, and your appointments which are synced from your phone. This could be a more efficient way to stay on top of your schedule compared to writing it down by hand and looking at your notebook every now and then. The screen also provides other functions, like a timer, a world clock, or a music player. But now, it doesn’t let you watch videos, which would be counterproductive.

Note is admittedly not a revolutionary new device, but it does creatively combine multiple ideas into a coherent whole. It isn’t a solution that will fit all needs, but because it is focused on a particular use case, it can optimize for that instead of spreading itself thin and overwhelming people with features. It’s simple and gets the job done without getting in the way of you getting your job done as well.

This personal whiteboard has everything you need to take notes anywhere, anytime

Writing things by hand has become fashionable again despite the prevalence of computers and smartphones. In fact, some have embraced this “analog” system of note-taking exactly as a reaction to the dominant reliance on technology. Whatever the reason, this resurgence in demand for paper products might also have negative effects on the environment when that demand far outstrips what our trees can supply. Reusable notebooks have started popping up lately to help address that issue, but these often require special pens or materials to use. When it comes to speed, simplicity, and reusability, nothing beats a plain old whiteboard, and this innovative whiteboard notebook comes with its own eraser so that you can get down immediately to writing, erasing, and writing, over and over again.

There’s nothing simpler than how a whiteboard works. You write something on its smooth, glossy surface, maybe take a picture for safekeeping, and then erase all the markings so that you can begin anew. Sure, you’ll need to use a dry-erase or whiteboard pen instead of a permanent marker, but these are a dime a dozen these days. They even come in different colors, sizes, and tips, so you have a variety of styles to choose from and use.

Wipe takes this simplicity and cuts it down to a smaller and more personal size that’s a little bit smaller than A4 paper. Despite the more portable size, the idea is still the same. You write on it, take a photo that you could save or send to the cloud, erase it, and write again. It’s fast, simple, and doesn’t require preparation, just like good, old paper. That said, you do need to have a whiteboard eraser or at least a piece of cloth with you all the time. Fortunately, this personal whiteboard already comes with one.

This whiteboard’s key feature is the soft material that covers its smooth surface. It’s lined with felt, which is the same material used for whiteboard erasers. Yes, this cover is actually one large eraser that you can and will use to wipe the board clean in an instant. You no longer have to fumble around for a separate eraser, especially if you want to completely nuke the whiteboard’s contents. It’s a simple addition if you think about it, but it’s one that has huge significance in making it easier to use.

The innovation fun doesn’t stop there. There’s a newly developed Mag Force system that combines magnets and rubber bands to create a handle that also functions as a pen holder. The very same cover comes with a built-in stand, so you won’t have to struggle with lighting when reading off the board or taking a picture. And if you’re wondering where you’ll keep those bits and pieces of paper notes and receipts, the soft felt cover also has a hidden pocket just for that purpose.

With an eraser, pen holder, stand, and storage pocket all in one, this portable personal whiteboard comes with almost all the necessary tools for a smooth writing experience. And since you can use any whiteboard marker, you can stop worrying about your note-taking tools and start focusing on what matters the most: putting your ideas down so that they will never escape you ever again.

FluidStance Lift laptop stand has a whiteboard to also raise your productivity

Laptops have long overtaken desktops as the most numerous kind of personal computer in the market, yet it is far from being the most comfortable to use. These notebook computers were never designed for ergonomics, and their form has persisted for decades just because there is really no better solution yet. What people have done, instead, was to workaround the laptop’s inherent ergonomic limitations, mostly by either using laptop stands that raise the screen to a more comfortable level or connecting an external monitor and better keyboards for desktop use. Laptop stands do one thing and one thing only, and while their simplicity has merits, they can do nothing more to optimize your workflow and productivity. Sensing an opportunity, FluidStance created a stand that elevates not only your laptop but also your productivity by offering a small yet significant analog feature.

Designer: FluidStance

One of the most-cited reasons (or excuses) for an unproductive time at work or study is the unavoidable interruptions that come our way. The common advice is to immediately note down those ideas, tasks, requests, or what have you the moment they arrive and then switch back to the current task at hand. That strategy sounds trivial, but only if you actually have something at hand to note those things down immediately, which isn’t always the case. FluidStance is trying to solve that problem by giving you a writing space that’s always available since it will be where your laptop will always be.

The Lift is a bit of an outlier among other laptop stands. It stands quite tall, actually 9 inches at its highest point in the back. This was specifically designed to put the laptop at eye level, reducing the strain on your neck when working at a desk. On the front, the laptop is raised to a height of 6.25 inches, which does mean you’ll need to use a separate keyboard anyway. Instead of wasting space, however, FluidStance has creatively put a dry-erase board in that space, becoming an area where you can immediately jot down notes without breaking your workflow or fumbling around for pen and paper.

1

It’s a rather ingenious design that takes advantage of what would normally be an unused area underneath a laptop stand. There’s still a lot of space behind the whiteboard if you want to hide some things from sight. The stand does have cutouts on the hind legs for cable management, so you might prefer to use that space for computer-related accessories instead.

One side effect of having a built-in whiteboard is that the height of the stand is fixed. In fact, there aren’t any additional parts, hinges, or whatnot, making it one solid steel piece. That also means that the FluidStance Lift is built to last, probably longer than even the laptop that sits on it, making it not only a minimalist yet multi-functional desk accessory but also a sustainable one, too.

Slope is an analog writing tool and organizer that takes your note-making to the next level

As someone who loves combining digital and analog elements in my workflow, you’ll even find my desk filled with my laptop, tablet, various notebooks, and of course the ubiquitous sticky notes. So you might say my workspace can become a little cluttered. While this works for me (well at least most of the time), there might be people who would prefer a less messy space and go more minimalist. While just using your desktop may be the key, there are still times when you need to write down things and normally, stick notes are the way to go.

Designer: FluidStance

But if you want to try and eliminate more disposable paper products in your life, there are tools out there trying to help you declutter. The Slope is a “personal desktop whiteboard with pen” that you can slot right in between your monitor and your keyboard. So yes, it is simply a magnetic dry-erase whiteboard but instead of being on your wall or on the side, it is right in front of you and angled in such a way that it is perfect for your list-making or reminder-listing writing needs.

It is made from bent steel sheet and is powder-coated so it’s pretty smooth and easy to use as well as giving you a premium dry-erase surface. It is also magnetic so you can attach your whiteboard markers if they’re magnetic. If not, there’s a space at the top to place them as well as space at the back to store your separate eraser. There’s a silicone phone holder if you need to have your mobile device in front of you and there’s also an opening in it so you can place your charger.

If you’re not using your keyboard, you can slip it under the sloped whiteboard so you can have space to eat or for your other stuff while taking a break. It’s a simple enough thing to use although I would prefer it if there was a way you could save what you were writing into the cloud or if you could digitize it if you need to save what you wrote. But as an analog tool, it’s something interesting for the desktop users out there who have a separate monitor and keyboard.

This whiteboard hidden right behind a poster frame may be the smartest WFH idea of the decade

Hiding a safe behind a picture frame is too 1980s… this picture frame hides a secret whiteboard behind it, for you to jot down your clever ideas without needing to invest in an entire whiteboard.

Let’s face it, WFH isn’t going anywhere. No, I don’t mean that the pandemic is going to last forever (I honestly hope it doesn’t), but its effects are. Working from home, contrary to everyone’s beliefs back before 2020, actually BOOSTS productivity instead of affecting it. People work longer hours because they’re at home and not inside an office that they need to leave as soon as the clock hits 5 PM… or beyond 5 PM if you have a hellish supervisor. WFH is perfect for bosses who are seeing productivity soar without having to worry about office spaces, extra staff, and holidays, and honestly, the inverse is true too, because a lot of people find working from their own home comforting, since they can live far away from their office, or even in another city, and simply show up by opening a laptop. Perhaps the only thing lacking in this equation (apart from pants, which nobody seems to ever wear on video calls) is the ubiquitous whiteboard, on which people jot down ideas, note schedules, leave post-it notes, and have intense brainstorming sessions… although the folks at Sable Flow are changing that.

Realizing that it would be ridiculous to actually own and display a large whiteboard at home, the folks at Sable Flow came up with a clever compromise instead… a secret whiteboard hidden behind a poster frame. Titled quite literally the Secret Whiteboard, this number features a nifty wall-hung poster frame that opens up like a book to reveal a double-spread whiteboard that you can jot on with a marker, stick post-its on, or even fix scraps of paper and printouts using magnets.

A hanging print frame that opens like a book to reveal a double-sided, magnetic whiteboard inside.

Every board comes with an art print included, or switch out the art to your favorite poster.

The recessed frame and the magnetic whiteboard allows you to keep your markers, erasers, and papers stored inside.

Easily adjustable to hang either way.

The Secret Whiteboard comes in 3 sizes – Small, Medium, and Large, and in a choice between a black or white frame, covering most decor and space requirements. It even ships along with a magnetic marker and eraser, as well as 6 wooden magnets to stick those paper notes. A hinge on the side of the frame allows it to pivot open, and the frame can be hung on a wall in either orientation, allowing the hinge to open either to the left or the right. When closed, the frame reveals the artwork of your choice (which you can simply slide in from the side), and when opened, transforms immediately into two whiteboards that bring a level of efficiency to your workspace that your WFH setup hitherto lacked… and the second you’re done for the day, the frame closes shut rather satisfyingly, thanks to magnets built right into the sides!

This miniature whiteboard lets you effectively brainstorm while you work from home

Reusable like a whiteboard, portable and sticky like a Post-it, the Mover Erase brings one of the workplace’s most effective features to your WFH setup. You see, in our transition from the office to the home-office, we missed out on quite a lot. Sure, there’s an obvious lack of workplace gossip and office chit-chat, but we’re also missing out on the kind of tools that make us more productive. The ability to stick notes around our work-desk, to walk up to a whiteboard and really brainstorm effectively. To streamline your process in a way that makes you more productive and organized. The Mover Erase turns the whiteboard into a portable setup that you can carry around with you, because productivity shouldn’t be limited to a ‘place’.

In 2020, I called the Mover Erase ‘sheer genius’. A portable, reusable, magnetic Post-it-style note that you could stick on any surface? The Mover Erase was an incredible ideation and organization tool. Now, with the Mover Erase Combo, it becomes arguably even more useful and versatile. At the heart of this system is the individual Mover Erase tile, a small rectangular element that you can write/doodle on and stick anywhere. Unlike a whiteboard, where you can’t really rearrange stuff that’s written, the Mover Erase’s tile-based system meant you could move blocks around, shifting ideas from one column to another… and unlike Post-its, the Mover Erase tiles were infinitely reusable, with each reusable tile saving nearly 10,000 sheets of paper. The Mover Erase Combo comes along with a magnetic folio case that’s best described as your portable whiteboard. Available in two sizes (a smaller MoverPad and a larger MoverBook), the folio acts as a central system for organizing, ideating, and processing. The MoverPad and MoverBook come with columns for tasks that require urgency, backburner tasks, as well as for a general creative-brainstorming session. Snap individual Mover Erase tiles wherever you want and rearrange them to help you keep track of what’s important and record what’s not important for later. Along with the MoverPad and MoverBook, you’ve even got a grid-based ThinkerBoard, and a lightweight, adaptable MoverPanel for arranging your magnetic tiles. Mover Erase’s entire ecosystem of tile and background brings digital-inspired organization to a physical level (like moving tiles around on your digital calendar or virtual whiteboard… but in real life), allowing you to focus on tasks at hand. In fact, the tactile system works incredibly well for people with ADHD too, allowing them to stay organized without getting distracted.

The reusable tiles come with a patented design that features magnets laid out on one side, allowing them to snap onto the folio, around your laptop screen, on conventional whiteboards, on your refrigerator, or even stack together when you don’t want them scattered around. A simple push causes the individual note/tile to lift up, allowing you to easily remove, replace, and rearrange them on the fly, and they come color-coded too, so you can organize them any way you choose. Your written matter, doodles, and graphs can easily be wiped off with a piece of cloth, or under running water if the ink gets too stubborn. They say the average human uses 700 pounds of paper each year – averaging to roughly 8 trees and 7000 gallons of water to process those paper requirements. The Mover Erase Combo drastically reduces that footprint, while bringing the productivity of your workplace right into your home… and if you just want the freedom to work wherever you can, the Mover Erase Combo folds up into a laptop-sized sheet that slides right into any backpack or suitcase. When you need it, just open up your MoverPad or MoverBook along with your laptop or tablet, and there you have it… an instant, creativity-conducive workspace!

This soundproof whiteboard is the social distancing partition you want in your office!

When I think of a whiteboard, I imagine a rectangular drawing space framed by painted steel or aluminum: a purely utilitarian design. I don’t imagine whiteboards as practical and decorative pieces for an office space. That is what makes the OMI whiteboard room divider unique: it reimagines what an office partition can be.

Several design elements deviate from what we expect from a whiteboard or a room divider. First, its frame uses wood instead of gray or black material, which normally blends into the background. In contrast, the OMI’s frame is its most noticeable feature — more so than the whiteboard itself. It looks thicker and heavier than most whiteboards, but the wheels make it easy to maneuver through a room. The individual parts also look easy to dismantle and reassemble, adding to the product’s mobility.

The OMI’s shape is also quite unusual, resembling a full-length mirror more than a whiteboard. Its frame is quite bulky, not the most modern or sleek design, but I think it makes the most of its build by including sound-absorbent pads and storage bins underneath the whiteboard. This shape might be the best design choice considering its thick wooden frame, but it also limits the available drawing space.

Overall, the critiques mentioned above are minor. The OMI room divider isn’t trying to be the most utilitarian option, but a happy medium between looks and practicality. I imagine this product as a homey cubicle divider for an open-office, something to brighten up your workspace or classroom.

This genius combination of a whiteboard and a post-it is a great productivity booster!

Reusable like a whiteboard, portable and sticky like a Post-it, the Mover Erase is the perfect tool for capturing ideas and taking them with you. And it’s sheer genius.

I never really realized (mea culpa on my part) that there always was a point of friction with whiteboards. You ideate on this large, white, wall-mounted surface, and then you end up copying the notes on a notebook you can carry to your workspace. Sounds counterproductive, doesn’t it? Well, the Mover Erase combines the two experiences into one singular product, so you don’t have to perform the same activity twice. Currently in its second, more refined iteration (after a successful round of funding for its predecessor, the Mover), the post-it sized product comes with a magnetic strip on the back that lets you dock it anywhere, effectively taking your ideas with you, and its reusable design can be wiped and written on infinitely, saving you loads of paper in the process too!

The Mover Erase is one of those ‘why didn’t I think of it before’ type ideas that sound so obvious when you hear it… sticky notes you can reuse, rearrange, and place anywhere. The handheld product, which now comes in multiple colors, uses a row of magnets to stick on multiple surfaces, whether they’re magnetic whiteboards, fridges, lockers, or on the side of your metal desk-organizer cabinets. The Mover Erase community can even vote for new colors and patterns in the future. Got a non-magnetic surface to stick your notes on? The Mover Erase even come with tiny metallic stickers that you can place around your computer monitor, or on the wall beside you, turning them into magnetic surfaces for your notes and doodles. Perfectly sized for note-taking, the Mover Erase sports a silicone surface that works with all water-based markers (so you can even use a highlighter or sketch pen on it). Its square design is perfect for making grids using multiple units, and you can even rearrange them to make your notes more dynamic, unlike a notebook (who’s pages can’t be rearranged). With a patented design that features 5 magnets on one side, the Mover Erase sits flat on any surface, but can easily be lifted up by pressing against its magnets. A simple push causes the individual note to lift up, allowing you to easily remove, replace, and rearrange notes on the fly. Your written matter, doodles, and graphs can easily be wiped off with a piece of cloth, or under running water if the ink gets too stubborn. They say the average human uses 700 pounds of paper each year – averaging to roughly 8 trees and 7000 gallons of water to process those paper requirements. With the Mover Erase, that footprint is heavily reduced. Besides, it’s a much better way to ideate on your whiteboard or in your notebook, given you rearrange notes when you need, move them to one side when you don’t, wipe them clean when you’re reusing them, and carry them to your desk when you want them to be accessible. Oh, and they stack up too!

Not only erasable but also washable. On average, a person in the US uses more than 700 pounds of paper every year. Per person, 8 trees have to be cut down and 7K gallons of water need to be consumed through out the process.

With MagDisc Secure Visualization Everywhere

The MagDisc behind is embedded with 3M VHB Backing. You can reposition it and there is no trace. It is re stick-able.
