I-O Data has showed off another one of its upcoming wireless LAN repeater, the WN-AC1167EXP. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WN-AC1167EXP comes with an AC plug (can be directly plugged into the electrical outlet) and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 867Mbps).

Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1167EXP provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES) and WEP (64/128bit).

The I-O Data WN-AC1167EXP is scheduled to hit the market from the end of October for 6,600 Yen (about $65). [Product Page]

Here we have another upcoming wireless LAN repeater ‘WEX-1166DHP’ from Buffalo. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WEX-1166DHP comes with two moveable antennas, a WPS button and one wired LAN port, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 866Mbps).

Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WEX-1166DHP provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (AES), WPA/WPA2 mixed PSK (AES/TKIP) and WEP (128/64bit).

ASUS is pleased to announce their newest wireless LAN repeater, the RP-AC68U. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the RP-AC68U comes equipped with a WPS button, a USB 3.0 port for connecting storage devices and five Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting wired devices, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 600Mbps and 5GHz – 1300Mbps).
